On Friday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who was running as an independent candidate for the US presidential election, announced that he was suspending his campaign and endorsing Republican candidate Donald Trump.
This decision was made public during a Friday speech where Kennedy cited several reasons for his support, including issues like free speech, the war in Ukraine, and what he referred to as "a war on our children."
Kenedy also mentioned that both he and Trump have been victims of what he perceives as legal and media warfare by Democrats.
