“Censorship” & “Censorship Revealed” Stories on “X,” the Mayo Clinic and “Delusional Parasitosis,” plus the Real Costs of Replacing Oil.
“Censorship” & “Censorship Revealed” Stories on “X”
Our first story tonight is about censorship and about how censorship is defined on the social media platform, “X.”
We’re gonna do that by simply going on “X,” and searching for the term “censorship,” to see where those stories lead us. We’re then going to search under a different, term, this time “censorship revealed,” to see what else we can find.
We conclude that, there’s a lot of raw data on “X“ relating to censorship.
The raw data mostly still needs to be parsed, compiled and connected to context to draw out actionable conclusions but there’s much important information on the topic to be uncovered by the curious and the patient.
We also note that “Grok,” the AI developed by startup xAI has already begun the process of connecting “X” data into a coherent whole and providing useful topic summaries.
If “X” ever goes “open source” to allow independent validation of the transparency of the algorithms used to compile its data, the platform will become a powerful next generation replacement for traditional media.
We also talk a little bit about the April 24th, 2024 Social Media Today post, “Elon Musk’s Push for Free Speech Shows Clear Bias Towards His Own Interests,” which notes that “X“ owner Elon Musk mostly complies with government demands to censor his platform, but does provide a public service by publicizing those demands.
The Mayo Clinic and “Delusional Parasitosis.”
The April 9th, 2024 Mayo Clinic Post, “Delusional parasitosis,” describes “delusional parasitosis” as:
… a condition in which a person has a fixed, false belief that they are infected by an organism despite evaluation not showing an infection to be present. This is also called delusional infestation.
Morgellons disease is a form of delusional parasitosis.
Of course, not everyone agrees.
A quick search, even on the heavily censored Google search engine using the term “Morgellons disease” uncovers a great many sources who both agree and disagree with the categorization of “Morgellons disease” as “delusional.“
For example, the January 5th, 2024 Medical News Today post, “What does Morgellons disease look like, and what are the treatments?,” notes that:
Morgellons disease remains a controversial topic among researchers and healthcare professionals, as there is little information about the condition.
The April 5th, 2024 Research Gate post, “Ulcerated, punctate erosions with ragged edges on the patient’s back typical of Morgellons disease lesions,” notes physical symptoms associated with the condition in a number of recent scientific papers, plus offers some insight into its causes and relationships to other, better understood diseases.
If nothing else, the Mayo Clinic might want to revise its inclusion of Morgellons disease in the category of “delusional parasitosis.“
The scientific consensus is against this categorization.
The Real Costs of Replacing Oil
We finish up with the November 30th, 2024 Mongo Minds on Bitchute post, “Oil-1 For Sunday.”
It’s about the real cost of replacing our current economic infrastructure, based around cheap oil, with so-called “green technologies.”
“Roasting the Press,” is an open forum with new media journalists critiquing and complaining about our well funded competitors, the stories they create and the techniques they use.
