At Freedom Forum, we hardly ever advocate for the United Nations (UN) and its band of merry globalists, but every once in awhile they hit on a good idea.
In this case, the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has come up with a good idea in designating May 3rd as World Press Freedom Day.
The concept of press freedom is a good concept to remember, especially during a Canadian election campaign almost totally focused around lies and who gets to report on them.
Here’s an overview of the most recent example of this which, at least according to the April 18th, 2025 Canadian Press post, “Debates chief cancels post-debate Q&A after Rebel News clashes with reporters.”
