BACK-END: Thirty Important & Influential Business, Tech & Military "NEW" Media Outlets

Thirty alternative and new media sites with links, reviews, perspectives and maybe even a little bit of "propaganda."

While its easy enough to research legacy media outlets online or through contact database marketers such as Critical Mention and Muck Rack, it’s getting harder to intentionally research new-media outlets through search engines such as Bing, with its Bing Copilot (“your everyday AI companion”), the very biased Google, its Google Gemini AI or through other standard or AI enhanced search engines.

Legacy outlets like the New York Times and the Globe and Mail are easy enough to find but independent voices like Joe Rogan, Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, David Icke and their peers aren’t considered “journalists” or even useful sites for editorial commentary by the legacy and are therefore more difficult to access.

Some of these sites are intentionally censored and that’s where publications like Freedom Forum come in.

Our first post on this topic, the December 27th, 2023 Freedom Forum post, “The 2024 Freedom Forum Listing of Important and Influential Canadian "NEW" Media,” focused on Canada and profiled fifty plus independent new media outlets not recognized by the legacy as competitors, but who should be.

This time around, we’re profiling fifty international, English language publications focused around business, technology and military stories. Hopefully, they’ll provide more nuanced, accurate and actionable information than can be obtained from the legacy.

They’re not recognized industry names like The Wall Street Journal, or Aviation Week & Space Technology, Defense News or Military.com or even Canada’s National Post, CBC News or Toronto Star.

But they’re direct competitors which sometimes, just sometimes, possess more accurate and useful information about what’s really going on.

They’re useful “silent” weapons and information sources in our current, ongoing and “quiet” war.
